Victories for Barbados St. Kitts-1 and Nevis


 From all reports, the 2011 13 & Under West Indies Cricket Tournament has produced some fine displays by both Nevis and Barbados, the two leading nations in the competition so far.

 Barbados continued their winning ways Saturday by easily defeating Anguilla by some 8 wickets.

 Anguilla won the toss and batted first, scoring 58 all out in 23.4 overs.

 Dimitri Adams 24, Jaidel Richardson 17.

 Bowling for Barbados – Hasani Newton 3/3, Ngozi Seales 3/7, Joshua Bishop 3/8.

 Barbados in reply reached 62/2 in 8.1 overs. Hasani Newton 26, Dominic Drakes 22 not out.

 Bowling for Anguilla- Dimitri Adams 1/14, Jaidel Richardson 1/21.

 The Most Valuable Player for Anguilla was Jaidel Richardson while Joshua Bishop took those honours for Barbados.


nevis-cricket-teamOver in Nevis at the Willett Park, the St Ktts Development Team vs  was defeated by Nevis.

 St Kitts Development Team won the toss and scored 44 all out in 22.4 overs.

 The Bowling for Nevis – Darez Daniel 3/5, Chavez Archibald 2/5.

 Nevis In reply reached their target with little sweat, making 48/1 in 8 overs.

 Ross Powell 20 not out, Philo Wallce 14 not out.

 Most Valuable Player for Nevis was Darez Daniel and Most Valyable Player for St Kitts Development Team was Osiquekiel Hewitt.

 Nevis won the game by 9 wickets.


Meanwhile at the Conaree Sporting Complex, it was a comfortable victory for St. Kitts Team 1, as they defeated Dominica in their encounter.

 After winning the toss Dominica batted first, reaching 94/8 from their 25 overs at the crease.

 Top scorers were Brian Joseph 23 and Tahj Tavernier 15.

 Bowling For St Kitts – Jerrickson Louis 3/25, Deshaun Fungafat 1/9,Javaughn Debble

1/18, Cameron Pennyfeather 1/18.

 The St Kitts team in reply, scored 95/6 in 24.2 overs with Jaeel Clarke 53 not out, Xavier and Saunders 20.

 The Bowling for Dominica- Shevron Dorsette 3/17, Ajaya Royer 2/15.

 The Most Valuable Player for Dominica was Shevron Dorsette.

 The Most Valuable Player for St Kitts was Jaeel Clarke.
