Victory for Village Superstars over St. Pauls on the Weekend

 

This was enough for the Village team to pull off a 3-2 victory, achieved though via penalty kicks, after the scores were tied nil-nil, at the end of the 90 minute regulation time.

The scorers for S. L.Horsford St. Pauls were Jeviem Blanchette and Josh leader.

Yellow Cards were issued to Zicomo Condor (Village) 33rd minute and Marvin Buchanan (St. Pauls) 74th minute.

Officials standing in the game were Caldon Duncan, Lloyd Rouse, Sherlene Browne & Steadroy Techeira

Rams Village Superstars and Mantab will now clash in the FA Cup finals.

ManTab earlier in the evening secured their place in the Finals with a long one nil over Cayon FC. The lone goal came from Jermaine Carey in the 34th minute. Scores at half time were 1-nil.

Meanwhile, in Division One of the competition, in a match played at the Newtown Playing Field on Saturday, Newtown Jnrs. defeated Security Forces, 11 goals to nil, after half time scores were 4-nil.

Scorers for Newtown Jrs, were Kimron Browne 10th & 15th minute, Ydennick Collins 21st minute, Keanu Griffin 35th & 75th minute , Zahvoya Powell 48th & 55th minute, Akimba Lawrrence 50th minute, Ivan Francis of Security Forces scored an own goal in the 52nd minute, Kiandre Battice 80th minute andMichael Mitcham 85th minute.

Red cards were issued to Jean Joseph (Security Forces) 35th minute, Ivan Francis (Security Forces) 60th minute.

Officials were Florencetine Morton, Shatresha Ephraim & Craig Rouse.

Also on Sunday 29th May, also in Division One, at the Newtown Playing Field, Molineaux defeated UDC Garden Hotspurs Jrs 1-nil, with half time scores being 1-0.

The scorer for Molineaux was Lennox Bedford in the 78th minute.

Yellow Cards went to Livingston Clarke (Molineux) 51st minute and Kieth Decosta (Spurs) 74th minute.

Officials were Trisley Bassue & Shatresha Epraim.

Over at the Verchilds Playing Field, also on Saturday, Conaree Fireball won by default over Verchilds High School.

Officials were Tristly Bassue, Sherlene Browne & Miquel Flemming.

In the second game scheduled for this venue, Trafalgar Southstars 5        vs        Youth & Experience 1. At Half Time, the score was 3– 0.

Scorers for Trafalgar Southstars were Glen Rogers 6th & 25th minute, Kebo Hanles 44th minute Delroy, Jeffers 49th minute and Linell Bradley 79th minute.

The scorer for Youth & Experience was Kismah Carey 66th minute.

Yellow Cards were handed out to Ron Francis (Youth & Experience) 11th minute and Delroy Jeffers (Southstars) 28th minute, while a Red Card went to Desroy Douglas (Youth & Experience) 87th minute.

Officials were Sherlene Browne, Tristly Bassue & Miquel Flemming.
