The award named in honour of the company’s Regional General Manager, Bevis Sylvester was presented to the service station for its quality service, cleanliness and outstanding customer experiences. A beaming and evidently excited Samuel Mc Sheene, Island Manager of Virgin Gorda praised his employees for all working together thus ensuring their success.
The Virgin Gorda Manager noted that the award serves as a great motivator and encourages the staff to continue delivering excellent service. He noted that the bar of excellence has been raised and as such, he challenged them to continue to work hard to ensure that the service continues to remain at a very high level.
Mc Sheene said that he is satisfied that his employees have acknowledged the need to remain competitive in a rapidly growing and economically competitive market, delivering quality and efficient services will remain the number one priority. “We were confident from the start that we were going to win this award as the Virgin Gorda operations of Delta Petroleum is highly committed and has a very aggressive approach in ensuring that we deliver the best service irrespective of who our customers are,” the VI Manager said.
Mc Sheene urged the other service stations to continue doing their best noting that he feels satisfied with the motivation being given by what he described as the company’s visionary leader, the RGM. He described Sylvester’s leadership as one that continues to bear dividends for the company stressing on the significant market share growth that has occurred within the various markets.
He declared that the various activities and events being executed within the company helps in providing a framework for closer relationships among employees and customers with a view to further exposing Delta Petroleum regionally.
