Voting moving at pace at Old Girl School, as lines crawl at Basseterre Police Station

Checks by at the polling station located at the Basseterre Police Station, constituency #1, show a long line of voters who are not too happy with the way the process is moving. One individual expressed her disgust, because she was waiting there for too long. 

Over at the Old Girl School, the voting process has been moving very quickly with persons confirming their names with agents before entering the polling station.

However, the morning has not gone without its share of obstacles, at the Old Girls School, where one prominent lawyer (name withheld) has found it difficult to locate his name at several polling stations he visited in the constituency.

Reports reaching indicates that there are persons in constituencies #5 and #7 who are wearing political colours, which is against the elections laws. A similar occurrence is happening in constituency #1 polling station at the Basseterre Police Station.

Over in Nevis, reports are that arguments have ensued over a political billboard up in constituency #11.

Meanwhile, learned that the Concerned Citizen’s Movement was only able to receive copies of the voters list on Sunday afternoon. According to reports, the list was made available to a lawyer of Team Unity to be sent to the Nevis party.
