The up tempo power song was produced by Kittitian DJ Kelvin Christoper of DJ Kells and was released on November 11th and uploaded to islandmix.com on that same date. According to her spokesman, within 24 hours the song had received over 400 plays and in one week over 1000, making it the most played and most frequently played song in that period. This enabled the song to be settled at the number 1 spot on the very popular Caribbean music, news and entertainment website, said the spokesman. 

She is the first Kittitian Female Soca artiste and likely the first artiste from St. Kitts-Nevis, to achieve the milestone. 

Shakki has now released 2 songs for Sugar Mas 2011/2012 and both have been well received and in very regular and significant rotation on radio stations around the region. Her first 2012 single  “Party Plenty” was released in early November and was immediately adopted by the Sugar Mas organizing committee as the official jingle for Sugar Mas 2011/2012.

Shakki has registered for both the Soca Power and Groovy Monarch titles in this year’s much anticipated Sugar Mas Soca Monarch. 

She is currently working on a music video for the song “Party Plenty” for Sugar Mas 2k11. 

According to her management team she will be releasing at least one more track for the upcoming Sugar Mas celebrations and is also deciding on many offers from local and regional artistes to collaborate on various songs 

Her next live performance is scheduled to be at the official launch of Sugar Mas 2k11 in Basseterre where she will be the headline performer.
