Well-known technician found killed at his home

Myers, said to be in his 60s, was employed as a technician at VON Radio. According to a reliable source, Myers was found at his home with gun short wounds, and it is believed he had been killed in the pre-dawn hours of today (7th August).

According to information coming from the Public Relations Office of the Police Force, Superintendent Hilroy Brandy, the head of the Nevis Division and officers from the Charlestown Police Station went to the residence of the deceased, at the request of family members who had not heard from him.  Brandy said, “Upon arrival, the officers noticed the door to the residence was ajar and upon entering the home for further investigation, they found the lifeless body of the victim… The officers early observation of the victim noted gunshot wounds to body.”

It was noted that the victim’s vehicle was missing from the premises. It was found in a bushy area at Pinney’s Beach. A forensic examination of the vehicle is ongoing, and the Violent Crimes Unit (VCU) has opened a homicide investigation.

Police makes the invitation again for assistance from persons with information related to the crime. Persons can call any Police Station in the federation or Crime Stoppers, a confidential hotline, at 1-800-8477 to share information.
