Young Guns Defeat Windsor University in Tape Ball Cricket Competition

As the Twenty/20 series in the tape ball competition continued the young guns were able to clinch another victory by 70 runs after winning the toss and electing to take first knock.

Young guns were able to put together a score of 153 runs with Amar Gossai, the top scorer with 36 runs. He was supported by Robert Murray Not Out with 30 and Welton Saeed 29.

Wasi Khan was the pick of the blowers for Windsor capturing 1 wicket for 17 runs off 4 overs.

In reply Windsor could only manage 84 runs, all out off 17.3 overs. Jibril Hamud was their top scorer with 21 runs.

Leading the bowling attack for Young Guns were, Andrew Simmons with 4 wickets for 9 runs off 3.3 overs and Hemant Parbhu 4 for 23 off 4.

The next match will be played Friday 18th February and will be the third game of the best of five series.
